Drawing from her background in classical piano, songwriting, and music therapy environments, she brings a thoughtful, nurturing approach to teaching piano, voice, guitar, and songwriting. Her lessons are tailored to each student’s interests, goals, and creative curiosity, creating a welcoming space to explore, grow, and connect through music.

Christabelle is a vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, and performer who brings warmth, curiosity, and creative exploration to her teaching. Drawing on a professional career, she helps her students, both children of all ages and adults, build strong vocal technique, performance confidence, and their own creative intuition. Her lessons are engaging and encouraging, with space for her students to explore favorite songs, performance, and songwriting while developing a voice that feels uniquely their own.

Ella P is a pianist, vocalist, composer, and producer with a background in jazz, classical, and contemporary music. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, she brings a holistic and highly personalized approach to teaching, combining strong technical foundations with creative exploration. Her lessons are collaborative and encouraging, helping each student develop confidence, musicality, and an individual artistic voice.

Ghazal is an artist and educator whose teaching practice bridges technical instruction, conceptual inquiry and material experimentation across drawing, painting and ceramics. Having taught at both University of California, Berkeley and Otis College of Art and Design, she approaches the classroom as a collaborative and supportive space where students are encouraged to explore, take risks and develop their own artistic language. Her pedagogy emphasizes art as both a personal and collective tool for reflection, change and critical engagement, while fostering curiosity through hands-on demonstrations, discussion, readings and exposure to diverse forms of media and art history. Ghazal believes deeply in experimentation, open dialogue and creating environments where students feel empowered to make mistakes, trust their instincts and grow through the creative process.

Liz is an interdisciplinary artist and educator whose work spans sculpture, video, installation and experimental media. Her practice is rooted in material experimentation, collaboration, and conceptual inquiry. Drawing on her MFA in Art & Technology from the California Institute of the Arts, Liz approaches teaching as a non-hierarchical process centered on curiosity, intuition and creative risk-taking rather than technical perfection. Her lessons are supportive and discussion-based where students are encouraged to trust their instincts, embrace experimentation and explore new ways of thinking and making without fear of judgment. Through meditative exercises, open dialogue and collaborative learning, Liz creates spaces that encourage vulnerability, play and the unique authenticity of every student’s creative voice.

Julia is a DJ, live electronic performer, and music producer who brings real-world club and stage experience into every lesson. After diving into drum machines in 2019, she quickly immersed herself in hardware, production, and performance—launching her live act in 2022 and beginning to DJ in 2023, with dozens of shows across LA and beyond since. She teaches students how to operate club-standard DJ equipment, build and prepare sets in rekordbox, mix in key, and confidently perform, while also offering in-depth instruction in Ableton for dance music production and hands-on training with drum machines, samplers, sequencers, and synthesizers. Julia’s teaching style is collaborative and adaptable, shaping each lesson around her students’ interests and goals to create an engaging, creative, and confidence-building learning experience.

James is a dedicated violin and viola instructor with 18 years of experience in music education. He has led chamber ensembles, coached string sectionals, and taught private lessons, always with a focus on inspiring students to connect deeply with music. Guided by the belief that every artist has a duty to share their knowledge, James tailors his approach to each student’s goals, empowering them to see their instrument as a source of self-expression, personal growth, and connection with others.

Mars finds love in the low end, offering up sub-heavy dancefloor shakers for bass-heads and newcomers alike. Drawing inspiration from British bass music history, the LA producer & DJ subverts the genre, using elements of bass wobbles and breaks to create batucada, 2step, and taiko rhythms. She has released with notable Bay Area label No Bias, and played alongside Jamie XX, The Dare, Doss, INVT, Anna Morgan, Bianca Oblivion, and Sybil.

Liza is a dedicated piano instructor who provides tailored lessons to help students develop technical skills, musicality, and a deep understanding of classical repertoire. Drawing from her experience as a classically trained pianist and composer, she focuses on fostering each student's unique potential. Her teaching approach is inspired by her own distinguished teachers, as she strives to pass on her knowledge and passion for music to the next generation.

Brigitte is a Berklee-trained multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer offering personalized lessons in the following topics: audio engineering and/or audio mixing (advanced level), songwriting (advanced level), violin (advanced level), guitar (intermediate level), vocals (intermediate level), and piano (advanced level). She specialized in folk, pop and electronic genres. Brigitte is also an active songwriter and performer and looks forward to helping students develop their skills and creativity. Brigitte is certified in Pro Tools, and proficient in Logic Pro and Ableton.

Julienne teaches voice and piano, finding freedom and magic in music as an expressive outlet. With a performance background starting at age 5, she is singer-songwriter based in LA, currently writing an EP. Julienne's teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering self-compassion, patience, and playfulness to make learning an instrument a joyful and empowering experience.

Julienne specializes in working with children in early elementary and is only accepting ages 5-10 years old.

Simha teaches voice (jazz & soul), songwriting, music theory, and Ableton Live production, adapting lessons to students' musical interests and backgrounds. With roots in Indian Classical music and a Berklee College of Music songwriting degree, they blend eastern and western influences to enhance musical storytelling. Simha emphasizes understanding each student's level and preferences, integrating practical exercises and performance analysis. They prioritize vocal health and effective practice routines, drawing inspiration from concerts, nature, meditation, and community interactions to continually evolve their own music and teaching approach.

Alan teaches guitar for all styles and ages, specializing in classical guitar and improvisation, and also offers voice lessons focusing on technique and expression. With a background in classical and jazz guitar, extensive band performances, and solo gigs, he brings a wealth of experience to his teaching, emphasizing personalized growth and musical exploration.

Allegra provides in-depth piano lessons in classical, jazz, and pop, emphasizing music theory, chord anatomy, and melody. With a background in classical piano, voice, and composition, she studied music performance at Bard College and now works as a professional session musician and solo artist. Allegra's teaching style is personalized, focusing on individual student needs and fostering a judgment-free, creative environment that encourages open communication and artistic exploration.

Claire teaches cello, guitar, voice, and songwriting, offering a well-rounded approach to musical development. Her cello lessons begin with foundational techniques—posture, bow positioning, and tone—before progressing to sight reading, ear training, and exploring how the cello adapts to various genres. In guitar, she draws from her classical background while incorporating elements of rock, pop, and jazz to create a versatile and engaging learning experience. Claire also provides vocal and songwriting instruction, helping students express their unique musical voices across styles.

With a background in Ragtime, Jazz, and Classical music, Johnny continually refines his skills and enjoys guiding students through a journey of musical growth. His teaching style starts with fundamentals and music theory, then adapts to students' interests to ensure they are engaged and inspired by the music they play. Johnny stays creatively inspired by his vibrant community and the joy of performing and storytelling.

Eva teaches electric bass and guitar from beginner to advanced levels, emphasizing collaborative music-making and joy in playing with others. She integrates her background in classical piano and music theory into personalized lessons that inspire students to explore their musical passions through theory, technique, and creative practice routines. Eva's goal is to leave her students feeling inspired to practice and find joy in playing their instrument, emphasizing the collaborative and rewarding nature of music.
