Ellie is a ceramics instructor specializing in handbuilding techniques, guiding students through foundational skills while encouraging personal creative exploration. With an approach rooted in curiosity and encouragement, she empowers students to experiment, problem-solve, and confidently create functional and expressive work in clay.
Ghazal teaches life drawing, painting, experimental drawing, abstract painting and ceramic tile-making, with an emphasis on observation, material exploration and developing an individual artistic voice. Through hands-on demonstrations, discussion and one-on-one guidance, Ghazal creates welcoming and engaging learning environments where students are encouraged to experiment freely, work outside their comfort zones and discover new ways of thinking through art.
