Choir 2

Choir 2 is an intermediate choir course for students who want to expand their repertoire and deepen their relationship to both their individual voice and the shared instrument of the ensemble.
This class builds on the foundation of Choir 1 by introducing more challenging music, more nuanced listening, and a broader technical toolkit. Students will continue developing the shared skills of ensemble singing while exploring repertoire that may include Beethoven, Brazelton, Monk, and beyond.
Throughout the course, students will:
- Expand their choir repertoire
- Strengthen ensemble listening and blend
- Practice more challenging harmonic and rhythmic material
- Deepen their individual vocal awareness inside a group setting
- Build confidence singing as part of a collective instrument
