01

What do you teach?

I teach the fundamentals of graphic design, helping beginners develop their visual eye and bring their ideas to life. We explore typography, color theory, composition, layout, and visual storytelling while learning design tools and workflows. Whether you’re interested in creating posters, branding, digital graphics, or personal projects, my goal is to help you build a strong foundation and develop the confidence to turn your ideas into thoughtful, intentional designs.

02

What makes you want to share your skills and knowledge?

As a primarily musical artist, graphic design has entirely shifted the way I view everyday objects, textures, and photography. I have always loved taking what seems like an ordinary photo and transforming it into a reimagined design a thrilling way to reinvent something into an entirely new meaning. This being said, I want to make graphic design feel approachable rather than intimidating, especially for beginners who may not know where to start. Sharing what I’ve learned allows me to help others discover their creative voice, experiment without fear, and realize that they’re capable of creating something unique.

03

What is your experience in your craft and how are you evolving?

In college, I double majored in Music and Public Relations and Advertising, with an emphasis in Advertising. It was here I  began taking my first design classes and absolutely fell in love with the craft. Since then I have been a Creative Designer for Cultivated Entertainment, a booking agency, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University, as well as currently being the primary designer and brand consultant for Louder/Los Feliz Music & Art Conservatory. My background as a musician, music producer, and songwriter also influences my design practice, particularly my approach to translating sound, emotion, and artistic identity into visual form. I’m continually evolving by exploring new visual approaches, drawing inspiration from different creative disciplines, and experimenting with ways to make design feel both intentional and expressive. I see design as an ongoing process of discovery, and I want to bring that same curiosity into my teaching by helping students develop their own visual language and creative confidence.

04

What is your style of teaching?

My teaching style is intuitive, collaborative, and centered around each student's individual interests and goals. I believe the best way to learn design is by doing, experimenting, asking questions, and discovering what feels right to you. Rather than following a rigid formula, I tailor each lesson to your pace, experience, and creative interests. I’ll guide you through the fundamentals, help you understand the why behind design decisions, and encourage you to trust your instincts. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling more confident, inspired, and excited to keep creating independently.

05

What keeps you creatively inspired?

I’m inspired by everyday visual experiences: typography in unexpected places, art, music, architecture, photography, fashion, and the way people express themselves through their surroundings. I love noticing the small details that make something visually compelling and thinking about how those elements can be translated into a design. I’m also inspired by experimentation and the freedom to create without needing everything to be perfect. Staying curious, exploring different perspectives, and allowing myself to play are what keep my creative practice evolving.
