Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or returning to a practice you once loved, this class offers a welcoming space to slow down, experiment, and discover the joy of painting. Together, we’ll explore the beautiful possibilities of watercolor, learning how to create soft washes of color, delicate details, dreamy atmospheres, and landscapes that feel uniquely our own. Working with beautiful cotton Western watercolor paper, we’ll practice approachable techniques for bringing depth, light, texture, and dimension into our paintings. Along the way, we’ll explore how color and composition can help us express not just what a place looks like, but how it feels.
