Fundamentals of Vocal Technique 2

Fundamentals of Vocal Technique 2 is a 4-week continuation of Fundamentals of Vocal Technique 1. This course is for students who want to deepen their understanding of breath support, resonance, space, registration, tone building, melodic phrasing, and performance. Students continue using toning as a foundation while also introducing melodies, reflection, and optional at-home practice exercises for students to create continuity between sessions. The class moves at a deeper level, helping students connect technical awareness to musical expression and build a more consistent vocal practice.
Throughout the course, students will:
- Strengthen breath support and airflow
- Explore registration, tone building, and resonance
- Practice melodic phrasing and vocal improvisation
- Build a consistent at-home practice
- Develop confidence performing and reflecting on vocal growth
