Fundamentals of Vocal Technique 1 is a four-week course focused on the foundations of vocal technique through breath, toning, sound-making, body awareness, and group practice. This class is designed for new, curious, and experienced singers who want a supportive environment for understanding how the voice works. Students will explore the physical sensations of singing, release tension, build awareness of breath and resonance, and strengthen the connection between body and voice.
Throughout the course, students will:
- Build confidence using the voice in a group setting
- Practice breath support, resonance, space, and connection
- Explore toning, slides, sirens, long tones, and sound-making exercises
- Develop a stronger mind-body connection while singing
- Leave with a clearer foundation for continued vocal practice
