Spanish language.
Languages have always been a significant part of my life. I was born and raised in Spain, so Spanish is my native language, but at the age of 7, I started showing interest in other languages, such as English and French. To me, it’s very beautiful when someone takes an interest in the language of other countries; language is the purest way to understand a culture. And that’s why, even today, I continue learning different languages!
My interest in different cultures and languages began when I was very young. Later, during my studies in psychology, I had the opportunity to focus on the field of language and understand how language is both a product and a source of cultural growth. I started teaching back in Spain, where the main focus of my teaching is conversation. However, I do not dismiss the importance of grammar for fully understanding a language. I believe that a good balance between theory and conversation is the key to fruitful and, at the same time, exciting learning experience.
My teaching style depends on each student. I always adapt my classes to each person and their needs. Above all, the most important thing is communication. Being able to jointly assess what works and what doesn’t, what we can modify, or what we need to change to make the learning experience as valuable as possible for each student.
After my experience in the field of teaching, my source of creativity remains the students themselves. They provide me with moments of challenge and, at the same time, immense gratification just by seeing their progress.
